Mince Dinner

Ingredients

  • 500g beef mince 

  • 1 large onion diced 

  • 3 carrots diced 

  • 1 tsp dried herbs 

  • 1 tbs tomato ketchup 

  • 2 beef stock cubes 

  • 400ml water 

  • 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce

Method

  1. Heat a large frying pan over a high heat

  2. Add the mince, season and cook for a few minutes until we’ll browned. Remove from the pan

  3. Into the same pan add the onion and carrots, season and reduce the heat to medium. Cook for around 5 mins until soft

  4. Add the mince back to the pan with the herbs, tomato sauce, stock cubes and water. Stir well, add the Worcestershire sauce cover with a lid then reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes

  5. Stir in the corn flour mix to thicken

  6. Serve with peas and potatoes (and mint sauce from the jar)
